A very entertaining game with Fauldhouse opening the scoring with a creative strike by Hashim Bakar to put the Hoose 1 up.

West Calder struck back to level the match before quickly taking and then extending their lead t0 go in 3-1 at half time.

A change of shape and personnel for the 2nd half offered more of the play to Fauldhouse as they pressed to get back in to the fixture.

Their play and adventure was rewarded when Reece Lowdon got in to the box to bring one back for the Hoose taking the score to 3-2.

Some moment of controversy when the Hoose went down to 10 men after forward Hasim Bakar was shown a 2nd yellow card for an apparent booking offence for not retreating away from the goal keeper.

Despite the reduction in numbers the Hoose pressed for an equaliser which finally came when substitute Greg Fernie popped up in the box to level the tie at 3-3.

Both teams had chances to steal the victory with West Calder coming close at the end with a fine attempt however this was bettered by an outstanding save by Daniel Tobin to keep the scores level.

Final score 3-3

The Hoose welcome West Calder to Parkview on the 14th May 2022 which on the back of this performance should again be an entertaining game.
