The Hoose got back to winning ways with a comprehensive 5-1 victory against Hawick Royal Albert FC in the 2nd round of the SFA South Region Challenge Cup.
1st half goals from Mark Duffy and Nathan Murray seen the hoose take a 2-0 lead into the half time break.
Hawick pulled one back early in the 2nd half but the 2 goals from David Bannerman and one from Paul Fee secured the Hoose’s passage into the draw for the 3rd round.
Bannerman had a chance to record his hatrick from the penalty spot but the resulting kick was saved by Hawick’s replacement keeper down to his right hand post.
