The Hoose secured the full 3 points with a lively league fixture against West Calder United FC at Parkview.

The West Calder goalkeeper seen red following an incident just where he was yellow carded for handling just outside the box.

The red card was shown following the protests made by the keeper.

The Hoose opened the scoring from the resulting free kick which seen Ritchie Kirwan drive a shot through the wall.

Clark Rankin got on the score sheet to double the Hoose’s lead with a stunning volley from around 20 yards giving the substitute keeper no chance.

Half time 2-0

West Calder started the 2nd half brightly and scored early in the 2nd half to bring the score to 2-1.

The 2 goal cushion was restored when Mark Duffy score from within the box.

The referee was called in to action again when David Bannerman was shown red for a 2nd bookable offence and West Calder were reduced to 9 men following a reckless challenge against Chris Philbin.

This did not deter West Calder as they again brough the tie back to within one following a strike by former Hoose striker Craig Johnstone.
