The hoose and Bathgate played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Parkview with the fixture being a game of 2 halves.

The hoose were forced into an early change which seen Rankin being replaced by Bannerman following a heavy clash with the Thistle keeper on or around the 4th minute.

The change appeared to disrupt the hoose who had the best of the early exchanges allowing Bathgate to take control of the fixture who opened the scoring on the 16th minute from a corner on the left side.

The high cross found its way to the back post where it was met by Macquire who sent the header over Wallace to make it 0-1.

Thistle extended their lead on the 28th minute.

Coming down the left flank, seen Dryden get on to the cut back in the box to calmly slot away giving Wallace no chance in the Fauldhouse goal.

0-2, at half time and Bathgate in control.

The hoose emerged after the break a much different team and were pressing to get back into the fixture with the break eventually coming from the penalty spot on the 61st minute with Duffy calmy slotting away the spot kick.

The hoose continued with their ascendency and were finally awarded for their efforts in the 90th minute where Duffy poked in the equalizer from a hoose corner off of a Kirwan shot.

2-2 final score

Both Clubs go at it again next weekend as the hoose travel to the Bathgate to play it out all over again.
